🤔 What are Automations?
Automations let you set up actions that happen by themselves when certain things occur. They help you:
- ⏰ Save time on tasks you do over and over
- 🔄 Always follow up with clients the same way
- 📅 Never miss an important deadline
- ⚡ Respond to clients faster
- 📋 Stay on top of compliance rules
- 📈 Handle more work without more effort
🏗️ Creating an Automation
To make a new automation:
- Go to Settings → Automations
- Click Create Automation
- Give it a name
- Pick a trigger (the event that starts it) 🎯
- Add conditions (optional — extra rules to filter when it runs)
- Choose an action (what should happen) ⚡
- Set up the action's details
- Click Save ✅
💡 Example: Welcome Message
Send a welcome text when a new case is created:
- Trigger: Case created
- Condition: Case type is "Personal Injury"
- Action: Send SMS with welcome message template 💬
💡 Example: Negative Sentiment Alert
Let the manager know when a client sounds unhappy:
- Trigger: Negative sentiment detected 😟
- Condition: Case status is "Active"
- Action: Send a notification to the assigned manager 🔔
💡 Example: Document Follow-up
Send a reminder if documents aren't uploaded after 3 days:
- Trigger: 3 days after case created ⏰
- Condition: Document upload task not done
- Action: Send SMS reminder 💬
