Every user (Admins) can control how and when they receive notifications from Kayse. By default, Admin users receive notifications for all case activity β€” but these settings can be easily customized to match your workflow and reduce noise.

You can control which case types trigger email notifications β€” or turn them off completely.

How to update email notifications

  1. πŸ‘€ Click your profile avatar in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Open the Notifications tab.
  4. Under Receive emails about your clients’ activity, choose the case types you want notifications for:
    • βœ… All β€” receive notifications for every case type
    • πŸ“‚ Specific case types only β€” limit notifications to selected cases
  5. Select which events you want to be notified about:
    • πŸ’¬ New messages
    • πŸ“Ž New documents uploaded
  6. Click Save.

βœ… Your changes take effect immediately.

🧠 Example

If you select only one case type, you’ll receive email notifications only when clients associated with that case type send messages or upload documents. You will not receive notifications for other case types.

Managing in-app notifications

In-app notifications appear directly inside the platform and can also be filtered by case type.

How to view and filter in-app notifications

  1. πŸ”” Click the bell icon next to your profile (bottom-left corner).
  2. A notifications sidebar will open.
  3. πŸ“‚ Use the case type filter at the top to select which case types you want to view.
  4. The notification list will update automatically.

This helps you stay focused on the cases that matter most β€” without unnecessary distractions.
