Create and save ready-to-go messages so you can reply to clients fast and keep things consistent. ✨
💡 What are Message Templates?
Message templates are pre-written messages you can use again and again. They help you save time and make sure your messages always sound professional.
You can use templates for:
- 📱 SMS text messages
- 📧 Email replies
- 💬 Chat responses
- 📣 Campaign messages
- 🤖 Automated messages
✏️ Creating a Template
To make a new message template:
- Go to Settings → Message Templates
- Click Create Template
- Type a name for it (like "Appointment Reminder")
- Pick the type (SMS, Email, or Both)
- Write your message
- Add any variables to make it personal
- Click Save
📋 Template Types
📱 SMS Templates
Short messages made for texting:
| Consideration | Guideline |
|---|---|
| Length | Try to keep it under 160 characters |
| Segments | Long messages get split up (and cost more) |
| Links | Use short URLs |
| Formatting | Plain text only — no fancy styling |
📧 Email Templates
Nicely formatted emails:

| Subject Line | The email subject (can use variables) |
| Rich Text | HTML formatting with bold, links, etc. |
| Attachments | Add files to the email |
| Headers | Custom email headers |
| Footer | Your standard sign-off or signature |
🔄 Universal Templates
These work for both SMS and email. Each channel gets its own version.
🏷️ Using Variables
Variables let you fill in each client's info automatically. When the message is sent, the placeholders swap in the real values.

- Go to Message Templates
- Click Manage Categories
- Add new categories
- Put templates into the right category
