Advanced Tasks

🧩 Conditional Tasks

You can set up tasks so they only show up when certain answers are given. For example:

  • Show "Upload Marriage Certificate" only if the client said "Yes" to "Are you married?"
  • Show extra questions based on the type of case
  • Skip tasks that don't apply — automatically!

Conditional logic gets set up when you add tasks to forms. See Forms for more details.

✅ Best Practices

  • Be specific — Clear task names help clients understand what to do 🎯
  • Add instructions — Explain what you need and why
  • Pick the right type — Choose the task type that makes it easiest to complete
  • Set deadlines — Due dates keep cases moving forward ⏰
  • Check often — Look for overdue tasks and follow up with clients
  • Use conditional logic — Skip tasks that don't apply for a smoother experience
  • Validate input — Use rules to make sure you get good data
  • Group logically — Organize tasks into sections that make sense
  • Think mobile — Remember, most clients fill these out on their phones 📱
  • Test it yourself — Complete the tasks yourself to see what the experience is like

Turn unreachable clients into paid cases.
